About us

Join us in shaping this movement. Your voice, experience, and insights matter.

Hi, my name is Shirley
====
The reason why I started this initiative is that I am curious about how we organize remote care collectively and how we can learn and benefit from each other’s tips, tricks, knowledge, and insightful stories.
As providing care for aging relatives from a distance can be challenging—especially when your loved ones live (temporarily) abroad while you are based in the Netherlands.
– How do you navigate an unfamiliar care system?
– Where do you find others in the same situation to share experiences, tips, and support?

My goal is to empower caregivers with practical insights, real-time knowledge, and a strong sense of community—so that no one has to navigate remote caregiving alone.

Let’s create a future where caregiving is not just a responsibility, but a well-supported and informed journey.

Your Questions

Who is this pilot for?

This pilot is for anyone providing care to a family member or loved one in another country. This includes expats, migrant children caring for their parents, and people with family members living abroad.

What happens to my data?

All responses are anonymized and securely processed. We do not store personal information—only insights that help other caregivers.

How does Lily work?:

Lily is a digital voice agent that asks you questions in a short conversation (max. 20 minutes) about your remote caregiving experience. Your input helps create a collective Care & Knowledge map.

Can I see the results later?

Yes! Participants will receive updates on the knowledge gathered through the Care & Knowledge Map.
